What is Ilizarov Surgery?
Ilizarov surgery is the latest advance in orthopaedics, where external fixation is done with the application of a specific device called the Ilizarov frame. Developed by the founder and pioneer orthopaedic surgeon, Dr Gavriil Ilizarov, it can cure many bone and joint diseases.
